Pittsburgh among "Best Bang" metros
Dec 7, 2009A new Forbes magazine survey puts Pittsburgh in the top 25 of the top 100 "Best Bang-for-the-Buck Cities."
The survey looked at factors like commute times, home vacancies, housing affordability, real estate taxes, unemployment and jobs forecast. The Pittsburgh metro ranked 22nd overall, tying with Knoxville, Tenn. Pittsburgh's highest category ranks are in the housing price forecast (sixth) and housing affordability (17th) areas.
