10 great places to (bike) ride the rails
May 21, 2010Great Allegheny Passage has been named one of the top 10 bike trails in the U.S. by USA Today. About the Passage, the paper writes: "Seven trails were linked together in 2007 to form a 152-mile path reaching from McKeesport, Pa., near Pittsburgh, to Cumberland, Md. There it connects to the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal Towpath, which runs all the way to Washington, D.C. "This could be an entire vacation," says Jennifer Kaleba of the national Rails-to-Trails Conservancy.
