Meet the Team
The team at About Pittsburgh loves and believes in Pittsburgh. We come from diverse corporate, ethnic, and personal backgrounds. We are parents, consumers, commuters, homeowners, working spouses, PTA members, mentors, and community volunteers. Some of us were born and raised here, while others fell in love with the city after being relocated themselves. Most importantly, we are Pittsburghers.
Every candidate and family has distinct needs and interests. The diverse experiences of each About Pittsburgh team member helps us to address these requirements.
Dana is Pittsburgh born and bred. After receiving her undergraduate degree, she began her career with the Pittsburgh Regional Alliance, an affiliate of the Allegheny Conference on Community Development, where she worked in the International Development department. While working at the PRA, Dana pursued her graduate degree at Duquesne University, graduating with an M.B.A. with a concentration in Human Resources and Ethics in 2004. Dana joined the team at About Pittsburgh in 2005, bringing her background in human resources, international business and economic development, her knowledge and love of the city of Pittsburgh and her genuine enjoyment of helping people…all backbones for moving About Pittsburgh forward. Dana loves seeing those new to Pittsburgh experience the skyline for the first time and showcasing all the wonderful amenities that Pittsburgh has to offer. Dana is proud to serve as a member of the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation Children’s Trust and is active in the Parent Teacher Organization at her children’s schools. She currently resides in Indiana Township with her husband, Ben, her two children, Mia and Maximus and their Mini-Schnauzer, Millie Mae.
Jeanne’s passion for Pittsburgh and its people made her a natural fit to start About Pittsburgh. Launching the company in 1987, Jeanne used her degree in business and previous work experience in the financial sector to understand and address what companies and institutions needed to attract good talent to the region. Jeanne is amazed every day with the progress Pittsburgh continues to make, and while her work and travels take her out of the city, she has stayed on board at About Pittsburgh as a consultant and continues to advocate on behalf of the city in a variety of ways. You might say you can take the girl out of Pittsburgh, but you will never take Pittsburgh out of Jeanne.
